theres this certain shade I've seen people have on, and ive tried some different eyeshadows but can never get the look

Urban Decay has the best shadows in my opinion and they have a lot of different gold shadows depending on the variation you are looking for.
E.L.F... seriously has the prettiest gold eyeshadow ever.. and it's only $1. They have a quad with a darker version too which I love. They sell E.L.F products at Target and online. Revlon's new line has an eyeshadow called ';Make a Sheen'; that has other eyeshadow colors with it.. but they have pretty golds in there as well. Mark Cosmetics also have shimmer cubes and hookup eyeshadow sticks that have gold shades.
urban decay makes amazing eyeshadow, it doesnt crease and it stays on really well. and the colors are really vibrant and pretty. and it comes in a lot of shades too, so you can pick the exact color you want. here are a few :]

I love gold/metallic eyeshadows. A good brand that carries lots of pretty eyeshadows is by Bare Escentuals. They have these specific eyeshadows called Glimmer and they can be worn wet or dry on your eyelids. They have these 2 great colors true gold and tan lines, that closley match the picture you provided. I prefer to wear these eyeshadows wet because they look more prettier and more shinier on my eyes. They come in really great colors too and you can purchase them in Sephora for $13.00 each. I put these glimmers on my eyelids using the Bare Escentuals wet/dry shadow brush which can also be found in Sephora stores for $18.00. Here is the link:

That shade looks a lot like the candlelight glow veil from kms mineral essentials. It is a glow powder veil that can also be used as an eyeshadow. I love that color!
