I am wearing a green dress to my prom with a gold clutch, should I wear gold eyeshadow?

I have light brown skin and brown eyes and would like to know if there is a better color than gold to wear.I am wearing a green dress to my prom with a gold clutch, should I wear gold eyeshadow?
Definitely gold eyeshadow!

You don't want green eyeshadow that would be too much green. And no point choosing another colour when gold will complement your bag. Also metallics should look great on your eyes and really compliment your skin tone.

(Although I do like the idea of blending the gold and green but you've got to get that right otherwise it could look really bad!).

Have a great time!

I would have to go with LC and stephiegirl...

I would definetly expirement first to see if the gold works or the

green.

If neither of them look good try a green blended with a shimmery gold. Good Luck and I hope you have a good prom!
you should really try it before you use it
Yes or green eyeshadow and gold shoes that will look great but first try it because you dont want anything to go wrong...
A gold color would look totally cute, I can't think of a better color.
It really depends on the color of your socks.
sure why not then go and register at the LVPD. BURN
i'd stay stick with a shimmery green eyeshadow instead of the gold.
You should.but try everything before your prom. make sure it looks good. Good luck
silvery green
gold is great
Definitely experiment before prom.

You could try blending gold with a green that matches your dress, or you could use a dark brown to accent your eyes without drawing too much attention to them.
omg that wud b soooo cutee!!!! gold would look great on you especially w/ the dress but u mite want to try out all diff. kinds of eye shadows b4 settling on 1
How about blending the gold with green. It will give you a shimmery look and accent your whole look!!

Good luck and have fun!
I would do green eyeshadow on the outer edges of my eyelids and on the eyelash line, then gold on the inner edges %26amp; middle of of the eyelid and blend it out. This creates a nice combination and makes your eyeshadow PoP :)

You might also try a shimmery gold eyeliner and line the inner portion of your lashline.

Remember to Blend, Blend, Blend
Gold will look great hun, especially with you having a gold clutch. Green would be too much and there are so many different shades it would be hard to find a green eyeshadow to match the green of your dress.

I definitely agree with those who said you should practise before the prom, make sure it all looks fantastic!!!
try it before you go out....if u like it, keep it---it probably will loojk good with your light brown skin.

if not, even a green tone of an eyeshadow that matches your dress will look good....whtever u like--good luck and have fun!
Since you still have time before prom, go to a department store and if they have a MAC (my personal favorite)makeup counter ask one of the artists. They are all qualified to help you. Also bring your dress to show them the color and they can figure out the best color that will work with yor skin and eye color, as well as compliment the color of your prom dress.
go with something a little more neutral toned for your face. i've seen ppl. go all glitter everywear and they looked like hookers. what you should try to do is use a neut. tone for your eyes and right in the crease of your lid put a gold streak. But if you do go all out with the eyes go soft with the lips.
