Does it look bad when someone with green eyes wears green eyeshadow?

I have green eyes, and some people tell me to wear green shadow while others say to stay away from it. What if I had some brown and green? Or would plain green look better? Or should I just avoid it? OPINIONS PLEASEDoes it look bad when someone with green eyes wears green eyeshadow?
I think you should just avoid it because it doesnt make your eyes stand out at all. I think you should use brown, silvers and purples(especially purples)

I think a soft green would look really pretty. You are really lucky to have beautiful green eyes. =) I have brown eyes =(

It'd look pretty, you'll have to try some different shades of green though, see which one suits you best. Brown and other natural colors would look very beautiful as well.
Golds, peaches and purples would be better choices. Silver works well too. Experiment to see which shades compliment your eyes and your skin tone.

sometimes green shadow is good if it is darker than your eyes and brown looks great on green eyes
i have green eyes. id stay away. it swallows them up. take it from someone who has green eyes :)
